Betsy Doon Hassett (born 4 August 1990) is an association football player who represented New Zealand. She plays for the University of California, Berkeley women's football team in the United States.[1]
She was captain of Avondale College First XI Girls Football team in 2008 and led them to third place at the National Schools tournament.
Hassett was a member of the New Zealand squad in the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup[2] playing all 3 group games; a 2-3 loss to Nigeria,[3] a 4-3 win over hosts Chile[4] and a 1-1 draw with England.[5] In 2010 she played all three group games in the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup[6]
Hassett made her senior Football Ferns debut in a 1-0 win over Argentina on 16 June 2008[7][8]
